The 950 closer features 2 speed controls for closing and latching. Non-handed and using the same template as many other national brands, including the Parker 500, the Yale 50 and the Norton 1600, the S. Parker 950 is a rack and pinion action door closer with all temperature hydraulics in an aluminum housing. Separate controls adjust, at any time, both closing and latching speeds. A fully adjustable model with back check is available. |

S. Parker guarantees trouble free operation of each closer for 10 years. Each unit is UL tested, and listed for use on hollow metal fire rated doors. The exterior housing is made of high tensile strength aluminum. Available in aluminum and duranodic, the S. Parker 950 series fits even extra heavy doors. |

S. Parker 1279 series ball bearing template butt hinges are made to genuinely close tolerances to fit standard template cutout and screw hole locations in hollow metal doors and metal frames manufactured to conform to a similar template. Hinges also meet applicable ANSI (American National Standards Institute) dimension standards. |

Full mortise template hinges fit snugly and trimly in wood or hollow metal doors with pressed metal or wood jambs. Hinges are loose pin, unless otherwise stated, and are fully swaged for smooth operation, and long life. 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" hinges are .134" (more than 1/8") thick for extra strength.

S. Parker ball bearing hinges are available in finishes for every application, including Prime Coat Gray, and Prime Coat Aluminum, Bonderized (baked-on) finishes as undercoats for paint. Plated hinges are US4 dull brass plating, and US3 polished brass, a high sheen brass plating. Chrome plating is over nickel, in satin or polished finishes. Duranodic is available. Ball bearing hinges provide smoothest operation even under heavy service conditions. Stainless steel hinges are for seashore, and similar highly corrosive environments.
